Reading the Megaways edition
The changing ways count affects how you read a spin. The paytable and tablet progression explain what its symbols can award.
How the ways system changes a spin#
Eye of Horus Megaways pays matching symbols across adjacent reels, beginning with the leftmost reel. The reel arrangement and ways count can change between spins. Look at the current counter when reading a result: up to 15,625 ways describes the maximum layout, while the displayed count describes the current spin.
This differs from the classic Eye of Horus slot, where ten fixed paylines cross a five-by-three grid. In the classic game, a winning combination follows one of those paths. In Megaways, the matching symbols connect across adjacent reels under the ways rules. The visual family is familiar, but the winning system deserves its own read-through.
Horus expands into a stacked wild on the middle reels. The Megaways game lists reels two, three, four and five for that expansion. An expanded symbol can help the ordinary paying symbols connect across the layout. Scatter symbols retain the separate role that starts free games.
Follow the premium-symbol progression#
The free-game sequence starts with 12 spins when three or more scatters appear. As Horus lands during the feature, the tablets progress through fans, ankhs, scarabs, winged falcons and Anubis toward the Eye. Watch the current tablet stage to see which premium symbols have been upgraded.
The extra-spin rule is edition-specific. One, two, three or four Horus symbols can award up to one, three, five or seven additional free games. That upper-limit wording matters when interpreting the counter. The feature combines changes to the premium symbols with chances to extend the round.
Megaways paytable at a total bet of 1.00#
The following values belong to the Megaways paytable shown at a total stake of 1.00. Keep the symbol count, stake and edition together when reading them. Ordinary symbols need a qualifying connection across consecutive reels; scatters use their own screen-wide award rule.
| Symbol | 3 symbols | 4 symbols | 5 symbols | 6 symbols |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Temple scatter | 2 | 20 | 50 | 100 |
| Eye | 2 | 5 | 10 | 20 |
| Anubis | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 |
| Winged falcon | 0.6 | 1 | 1.5 | 2 |
| Scarab | 0.5 | 0.6 | 0.8 | 1 |
| Ankh | 0.4 | 0.5 | 0.6 | 0.8 |
| Fans | 0.4 | 0.5 | 0.6 | 0.8 |
| A, K, Q or J | 0.1 | 0.2 | 0.3 | 0.4 |
Open the paytable after setting your total stake to read the values for that game. The classic paytable has a different scale and ends at five matching symbols. A familiar symbol illustration is therefore a reason to recognise the game family, while the edition name identifies the correct payout table.

RTP and the maximum-win rule#
One Eye of Horus Megaways setting has a theoretical RTP of 95.49%. Other named settings are 90%, 92% and 93%. Match the setting inside the selected game; the RTP comparison keeps each percentage alongside its configuration.
Game version 1.6.0.5 sets a maximum win of 50,000 times total bet and also displays a cash ceiling of 120,000.00. Apply both limits together with the currency equivalent and any operator ceiling shown in the selected game.

Find your way around the Eye of Horus family#
