Getting useful practice from free play
Use practice credits to learn the screen and rules. Keep the cost display, winning paths and feature symbols in view as you follow each result.
Turn a practice spin into a rules lesson#
The most useful way to learn the classic game is to connect one visible result with one rule. Start with the five-reel layout, then follow a highlighted line from left to right. The line must connect matching symbols across consecutive reels. Horus can help complete that pattern after expanding to cover its reel.
Next, open the paytable and find the relevant symbol and count. Several winning lines can contribute to the total displayed for a spin. The game pays the highest win on each line and adds the separate scatter awards. The classic game provides a table and symbol descriptions if you want a reference while learning.
Separate the two meanings of “free”#
In free-play mode, the displayed credits belong to a practice balance. They let you explore the controls and see how the game presents wins and features. Real-money play uses an operator account, its cash balance and its own terms.
Free spins describe the game’s bonus round. In the classic version, three or more Bonus symbols anywhere on the screen award 12 spins. The round uses the triggering bet. During it, Horus advances the tablet upgrades and can add more spins. Recognising this distinction makes it easier to understand both the mode you selected and the feature occurring inside it.
Make the session about understanding#
Set a simple practice task: identify Total Bet, trace a paid line, then read the feature rules. A feature appears through the game’s results, so learning its trigger from the help screen is useful even during a short practice session.
A demo sequence illustrates the mechanics. RTP is a long-run theoretical figure tied to a configuration, while individual sessions can vary. Before changing modes, read the selected real-money game’s own settings and choose a session amount and duration that suit you. The RTP comparison explains the classic settings in detail.
Find Power 4 by its full name#
Eye of Horus Power 4 uses four individual reel sets and is a separate release. If that is the game you meant to find, match Power 4 in the title and use its own paytable. The single-window classic preview on this page explains the original layout. Eye of Horus Fortune Play also has its own free-spin rules; use that edition’s paytable when choosing the Fortune Play release. For a different ways-based format, visit the Megaways.
